Questions & Answers

Event Details

What time should we arrive?

The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM sharp. We recommend arriving 15-30 minutes early to find parking, get seated, and settle in before we start.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Veranda. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors, followed by an indoor reception. Beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces will be available, and the venue is climate-controlled for your comfort.

How long will the celebration last?

The celebration will run from 4:00 PM to approximately 10:00 PM. This includes the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing!

Attire & Photos

What is the dress code?

Cocktail or semi-formal attire is encouraged. Cocktail dresses, dressy separates, jumpsuits, suits, blazers, and dress pants are all great options—but most importantly, please wear something that makes you feel confident and comfortable!

Are phones allowed during the ceremony?

Phones are welcome! We just ask that you leave the big cameras and photography gear at home—we'll have a professional photographer covering everything. During a few key moments, like the processional and vows, please keep your phones down so everyone can be fully present (and so the photographer gets a clear shot!).

Will there be a photo booth?

Yes! We'll have a fun photo booth for you to enjoy during the reception.

Guest List & RSVPs

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by November 1st, 2026. We need a final headcount for catering and seating arrangements. The sooner you respond, the better—it helps us plan!

Can I bring a plus one?

If your invitation includes 'and guest' or lists a specific name, then yes! Otherwise, we've limited our guest list to close friends and family due to venue capacity. We hope you understand.

Are children welcome?

Yes! Children are welcome to all parts of the celebration. We'll have a kid-friendly menu. Please let us know if you'll be bringing children when you RSVP.

Can I change my RSVP after submitting?

Life happens! If you need to update your RSVP, please contact us directly as soon as possible. Your invite should also have a unique RSVP code that you can use to make changes online. We appreciate your prompt communication!

Food & Drink

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know about any dietary restrictions, allergies, or food preferences when you RSVP. We'll work with our caterer to ensure everyone has delicious options!

Will there be an open bar?

No, we will not have an open bar. We will have a cash bar available for guests to purchase drinks.

What kind of food will be served?

We'll have a delicious buffet! Specific menu details will be finalized closer to the wedding date.

Venue & Parking

Will there be parking available?

Yes! The Veranda has ample complimentary parking for all guests. If there isn't room in the main lot, there are additional parking areas nearby.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, The Veranda is fully wheelchair accessible with ramps and accessible restrooms. If you have specific accessibility needs, please let us know.

Should I use Uber/Lyft instead of driving?

If you plan to enjoy the bar, we highly encourage using a rideshare service! The address is: 1746 Lockhill Selma Rd, San Antonio, TX 78213.

Gifts & Registry

Do you have a gift registry?

Your presence is the greatest gift! For those who would like to celebrate with something more, we've registered at Amazon and Target.

Can I bring a card or gift to the wedding?

If you'd like to bring a card, we'll have a secure card box at the venue. Physical gifts can be shipped directly to our home or brought to the wedding.
